Parrott to aid his grandfather Bishop William A. Clark, Sr. in ministry, he joined the Bible Way Church in Trenton, NJ. Later, Apostle Parrott, then an Elder, was officially installed as pastor of the Bible Way Church May 1, 1993.

In 1995, Apostle Parrott was appointed to District Elder at the recommendation of Bishop Franklin Pettiford. He continued to serve the ministry faithfully, and later, under the leadership of Chief Apostle Huie L. Rogers of the Bible Way Churches World Wide, Inc. (BCWWW, Inc.) he was consecrated to the office of Bishop on July 04, 1998. In this capacity, he served on the General Board of Bishops for the BCWWW, Inc., and in March 2010, was elected to the Executive Board of Bishops.

Apostle Parrott has heeded the call to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout his ministry, and he counted it an honor when he was appointed Bishop over Africa for (BCWWW, Inc.). He has gone on several mission trips to Liberia and Ghana of West Africa where churches were planted and men and women were filled with the Holy Ghost and Baptized in Jesus name. He also continues to raise awareness about their needs and the necessity to provide the people with much-needed aid.

It is Apostle A. Philip Parrott’s great desire to serve God and serve the people of God with passion, wisdom, and humility. He is committed to reaching those who do not know the Lord Jesus Christ that they might come into a relationship with Him. He is dedicated to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. From now and until the return to the Lord, his ministry is as ‘the voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God (Isaiah 40:3).’
